Mojo (Spanish pronunciation: ['moxo], from the Portuguese Molho (sauce) ) is the name, or abbreviated name, of several types of sauces, varying in spiciness
Here at MOJO TRUCK, with play with these original sauces and place them on our world famous CHIVITO SANDWICH, so you can have a different chivito experience every time!!
WHAT IS A CHIVITO SANDWICH????
Chivitos are one of the most common dishes that you can find in Uruguay. They are enormous sandwiches and can be made very elaborately.
Here in DC, we use our 100 % "Hands made" bread rolls, baked daily.
These amazing sandwiches can vary greatly, but all arise from a similar composition.
Chivitos always build off of thinly sliced meat; usually a thin steak but this can be chicken or pork, as well. On top of the meat goes lettuce, tomatoes, sometimes ham, bacon, onions, avocado, mozzarella cheese (to hold most of it down), a fried egg on top and our delicious MOJO sauce of the day. But sometimes, the sandwich has even more on it!!!
